Honoring the Past: Workers from Drexel 3 & 5

The site of Drexel 3 & 5 is being reimagined, once a place for building furniture, soon a place for building futures. We are transforming 27.87 acres into our flagship Innovation Campus, a hub for manufacturing, textile innovation, and circularity in Morganton, NC. As we redevelop the land, we honor the workers of the past and their deep connections to both people and place. The individuals featured here, former Drexel 3 & 5 workers ranging from interns to plant managers, each carry a unique story of how their time at the plant shaped their lives and careers, creating a living bridge between the site’s history and its future.
