Susan Berley

Susan serves as the Vice President for Student Success and Support Services at Western Piedmont Community College. In her role she oversees Student Services, Marketing, Institutional Research and Evaluation, and Accreditation. Susan works to carry out the College’s vision to be a transformational community leader that empowers all individuals to achieve success.

Prior to joining the team at Western Piedmont Community College, Susan held positions in land use planning with Burke County Government and the Western Piedmont Council of Governments. Susan is a certified planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners. Susan has been a resident of the City of Morganton for the past 25 years and enjoys the diversity of the community as well as the abundant natural resources of the surrounding region.
