Experience Our Ecosystem Through Trainings and Events

Whether you’d like to connect through a specific program, collaborate, or simply say hello, we’d love to hear from you!

Accelerating Common Economies: Driving Progress in Place-Based Economic Development

This four-day, immersive program is designed for professionals shaping the future of place-based economies. Participants ranging from economic and community development leaders to policymakers, funders, and developers work alongside our expert team and nationally recognized staff to explore strategies that strengthen resilient, inclusive growth.

Through case studies, site visits, and facilitated dialogue, participants examine how regional economies function as interconnected systems shaped by history, place, labor, land, and relationships. Participants engage with proven frameworks, including The Industrial Commons’ Build, Buy, Leverage approach, gaining practical tools and shared learning that support equitable growth, cross-sector alignment, and long-term regional impact.
